Dream description
I study Agro-business because I believe food and agriculture are very important to human beings and environment as they allow us to stay alive. My dream is to eradicate food insecurity first in my country, then in other parts of Africa. Every day the ammount of food waste in Africa is huge, due to improper conservation, harvest, and trasportation methods. Those waste could be so usefull to Africans if they were avoided. I would like to build my own food transformation facility. My studies has shown me that different types of material are usefull for conservation (ex: vacuum plastic can keep meat, chicken etc..fresh). I would like to provide good quality food product, at affordable prices so that even the poor can enjoy the beauty of food. I would like to exploit "L'Office du Niger" which is a water point in my country that is known to have a capacity that can feed the entire Sahel. I BELIEVE THAT NO HUMAN BEING DESERVE TO GO TO BED WITH AN EMPTY STOMACH.

Action plan
My facility will comprise 2 parts : the transformation and administrative part.
Transformation part: food will be transformed into other end products, and packed in appropriate material/ package so that they can have a longer shelter life (fex: fruits will be transformed into juice, or jelly, meat will be packed instead of being exposed to dust and instects in the small african market,etc...). The inpputs can be purchased from the small farmers from rural regions(which will empower their business, increase their profit and reduce poverty).
Administrative part: is a school where farmers and merchants will be taught how to manage their ressources, avoid food waste from the harvest stage to the commercialization stage, maximize their profit, advertise for their product, finance their products and to analyse the demand-supply model in the market place.
result: quality food for everyone at affordable prices, development of rural zones, reduction of food waste, thus increase of income
