My dream centers on the preservation of the African culture and the promotion of art.
History is no longer taught as a subject in most schools. Marcus Garvey once said, "A people without knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots". Our culture will, in the long run, be forgotten if not preserved in the minds of the younger and incoming generations.

For the above reasons, my dream is to solve this problem of losing our culture by preserving both our culture and history in the colored pages of comic books and graphic novels. It will kill three birds with one stone i.e increase youths interest in the African culture, promote art and preserve our culture.

The stories of our culture and history will be told in an entertaining manner through comic books and graphic novels. Vivid pictures will be painted about the African way of life right from the precolonial era to the present age. Its the best way to capture youths attention about culture.

I'll first start off by incorporating a company with a team of skilled and experienced people in the field of publishing as well as artists, writers and staff necessary to achieve the objective of preserving our culture through the medium of comic books and graphic novels.

The comic books and graphic novels will target youths between the age of 13-18 years.
The publishing of a graphic novel telling a story of Bini history and culture in the precolonial era will be the first project embarked on. Subsequent comic books and graphic novels will tell unforgettable stories of other cultures in an entertaining way.

In addition, the company will market the comic books and graphic novels through direct marketing and through established magazine and books distribution channels. In addition to printing and storage costs, marketing costs will also be incurred in building the circulation base of the comics and graphic novels.
