Being a basketball player and a sport sociologist, I have launched “EDUCATION AND BASKETBALL”. So I can share my passion of sport with the young sportsmen by discussing with them during the conferences. The goal is to promote education through the sport by inculcating them some values like discipline. But also to encourage them to stay in school; a lot of them give up from school because of the sport in Senegal. I had this idea after my injury that made me realize the chance that I had for being educated.

My intention is to set up a big awareness campaign targeting the youth, especially in the sportive club where they play. Caravans will be organized with a specific and detailing planning all around Dakar and others city. Funds will be needed to set up the logistic part (vehicles, sound system, t-shirts, jerseys etc.).
The result expected would be to get the best awareness from the young sportsmen about their future after their careers.
