Each day many Ghanaians/Africans go through a lot of stress to get to their office and home using public transportation. Imagine how this stress affects their productivity and that of their company/country?

My dream is to build a mobile app and an online platform that will make it possible for people to easily access buses or other forms of public transport and also bring together their voices to improve public transport in these countries.

I created a Facebook group for the project which currently has over 12,000 members sharing their experiences and discussing how things can be improved. Having identified some key ways to achieve the dream, these are 3 areas we want to address it from and this is where I believe Nestle can support us;

Action 1. Technology: completion of website by June 2015 and build mobile app that people can use to access public transport and get directions.

Action 2. The Sanitation Project: place mini dustbins in buses to discourage littering and promote Environmental sustainability .

Action 3. Mobile Library: turn buses into libraries by putting books in buses so school kids can read on their way to school and back.
