My dream is to open a Music Making Academy for disabled people.
The aim of the academy will be to teach disabled people to express themselves creatively through music of all kinds, from singing to playing instruments to being DJs.
Disabled people are often marginalised in my society in Ghana, often left to beg on the roadside or condemned as good for nothing. However, many are extremely clever and talented. I have a cousin who is handicapped but he is one of the most talented piano players I know. Fortunately, he has been supported and is now doing very well abroad, but many don't have that chance.

Therefore, I want to give such people this chance right here at home. Music is my life, so what better way to give of myself than through what I love the most? I know a lot of people in the music industry who are ready and willing to contribute their expertise to make this happen - but I know that support from NESCAFÉ will make all the difference.

I have an existing network of music professionals, students and enthusiasts that is ready and willing to support this through volunteering time and skills on a regular basis to teach these people. The plan is to eventually employ people as project takes off.
With support, I would be able to buy a space to set up this academy, buy instruments and other musical equipment, pay for utilities, food etc.
